Abstract
Objective To observe the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine for knee osteoarthritis and the role of nursing.Methods 83 patients diagnosed as knee osteoarthritis were divided into two group for treatment.The study group received therapy with traditional Chinese medicine and relevant nursing; while the control group received injections of Western medicine.The effectiveness rarte and safety of the therapies were two groups were observed in both groups.Results The effectiveness rate was significantly higher in the study group than in the control group (P＜0.05); and the safety of therapies did not differ statistically between the two groups (P＞ 0.05),indicating that Chinese medicine therapy had greater safety.Conclusions Traditional Chinese medicine combined with nursing intervention can effectively improve the efficacy of treatment for knee joint osteoarthritis and it is safe and reliable.关键词
