摘要

Abstract

Wurtzite zinc suliide (α-ZnS) nanocrystallites have been successfully prepared by a process of sonochemistry combined with microwave hydrothermal. The as-prepared α-ZnS nanocrystallites were characterized by X-ray diffraction ( XRD), transmission electron microscopy ( TEM) , selected area electron diffraction (SAED), infrared spectroscopy (IR), ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis) and photoluminescence spectra (PL). Results show that, the structure of these α-ZnS nanoparticles are the hexagonal phase and the crystallites size is about 5 ~ 10 nm. And the band gap of the ZnS nanocrystallites obtained is 3. 91 eV. It can be found from the PL spectra that the best photoluminescence property of the as-prepared α-ZnS nanocrystallites is achieved after microwave-hydrothermal treatment for 30 min.
