摘要

Abstract

The physical characteristics and sedimentation Speciality of the Bayer red mud was studied according to the need of pile-up in this paper, compared the effect of different promoting settling agent for the settlement of red mud; The Reasonable proportion of the promoting settling agents was found through the orthogonal experiment: NaHm/ FDN/ SHMP/SDBS =1/11/2/3, In the concentration of 40% of the red mud mixed with 3. 4‰ promote settling agent, after 8 h the sedimentation layer concentration can reach 52.6% , after 24 h the sedimentation layer concentration can reach 59. 8%. Compared with natural sedimentation 24 h, settlement layer concentration improved by 27% ; To strengthen the concentrated red mud for curing, compared with natural sedimentation red mud solidified body,the cohesion increased by 50% , which improves the stability and safety of curing pile-up.
