Abstract

Aiming at high grade induction heating bend , it studied the properties after the whole quenching process, detailedly compared the properties with the impact toughness of weld after section part quenching, and put forward the advantage of the whole quenching process. It also further defined the optimal process range in tempering process, and gave some opinions and suggestions for X80 grade induction heating bend production. The test results showed that compared with the section part tempering process, the quenching+tempering process can effectively improve the toughness of weld in straight pipe section, and reduce the performance difference between straight pipe and bend. For quenching+tempering process of X80 grade bend, the optimal process range is 550~600℃.
