人参皂甙Rg1促进大鼠坐骨神经损伤后再生的作用
Ginsenoside Rg1 promotes sciatic nerve regeneration in rat following nerve transected injury

Abstract
Objective: To study effects of ginsenosides Rgl on the sciatic nerve regeneration after injury. Methods: Sixty SD rats were assigned into a treated group and a control group randomly. Ginsenosides Rgl (40 mg/kg) was administered by in-traperitoneal injection each day in the treated group for 12 weeks. The expression of NGF was tested by immunohistochemis-try method after 4 weeks. The sciatic nerve function index (SFI) , electrophysiological index of the nerve, morphologic alteration of nerve and muscles and weight recovery rate of gastrocnemius were studied to evaluate the recovery of the sciatic nerve after injury. Results: The denervated changes of the rats from the test group in the muscle atrophy, swelling and ulcer of the toe, stretch and ascend action of the paw were better than those of the control group. There were more expressions of NGF in the treated group than the control group in 4 weeks. After being treated with ginsenosides Rgl for 4 to 12 weeks, all results including SFI, nerve conduction velocity, counts of axon and weight recovery rate of gastrocnemius, indicated that there were statistically important differences between two groups. The axon and myelin of the regenerative sciatic nerve in the test group were much denser and regular than those in the control group at the end of 4, 8 and 12 weeks after surgery. Conclusion: The present study showed that ginsenosides Rgl can promote repair, regeneration and functional recovery of the sciatic nerve after injury.关键词
