Abstract
Objective:To compare the occurrence of sharp injury in dental nurses before and after Cassette used, provide measures for preventing and controlling sharp injury in dental nurses. Method:selected all of 20 nurses in Zhuhai Dental Hospital investigating by questionnaires including section in which the sharp injury happened and what the instrument led to before and after Cassette used, compared the occurrence mean of sharp injury before and after Cassette used. Result: the occurrence of sharp injury happened in nurses was 4.04±2.54 per person/year before Cassette used.after Cassette used the occurrence was 1.75±0.97 per person/year, there were significantly decreased G=3.38,P <0.05).in section of classifying after operation the occurrence decreased from 3.12±1.16 to 1.53±0.79 per person/year (t=4.63>P <0.05);and in section of cleaning and disinfecting the occurrence decreased from 9.30±1.15 to 3.00±1.00 (t=7.18,P <0.05)per person/year, the decrease in cleaning and disinfecting section was huger than that in classifying section, the types of the appliances led to injury in different sections were differrent. Conclusion: the Cassette can decrease the sharp injury in dental nurses.关键词
