Abstract
Objective To explore the condition of platelet activation, aggregation and its clinical signification in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods According to infarct volume and stroke subtype, 97 acute cerebral infarction patients were divided into small infarct volume subgroup, medium-large infarct volume subgroup and large-artery atherosclerosis stroke (LAA) subgroup and small-artery occlusion (SAO) subgroup respectively. The positive rate of CD62P was measured by flow cytometry. Arachidonic acid-induced platelet maximal aggregation rate ( MARAA ) ,adenosine diphosphate-induced platelet maximal aggregation rate (MARADP) were measured by turbidi-metry within 48 h (before therapy) and on the 12th day after onset. The results were compared with the normal controls ( n = 99). Results The levels of CD62P, MARAA and MARADP within 48 h in cerebral infarction group were significantly higher than those in normal control group (P <0. 05 -0.01) ,and which were significantly decreased on the 12th day after onset( all P <0. 01). The levels of CD62P and MARAA and MARADP in the medium-large infarct volume subgroup and LAA subgroup were significantly higher than those in the small infarct volume subgroup and SAO subgroup, respectively (all P <0. 01). Conclusions Platelet activation and aggregation are significantly increased in acute cerebral infarction patients, especially in the patients with medium-large volume infarct and large-artery atherosclerosis infarction. Observing the platelet activation and aggregation in acute cerebral infarction patients is contributed to its condition judgment.关键词
