The Simulation Comparison of Two Maximum Power Point Tracking Methods of Grid-Connected Photovoltaic System
摘要
Abstract
There are stability problems in photovoltaic system components simulation usually. After analyzing the photovoltaic cells' input-output characteristics and the equivalent circuit, this paper established a simulation model for bipolar grid-connected photovoltaic system with booster circuit and inverter circuit on the basis of the transfer function in MATLAB/Simulink. The photovoltaic cells' output characteristics in different illumination intensity were simulated using this model. Two different Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) methods, the perturbation observation and conductance increment methods,were compared through simulations. The advantages/disadvantages of the two methods and their respective applicable occasions were analyzed and summarized. Finally, the photovoltaic cells connected to the grid were simulated using this model.关键词
