Abstract
Objective To discuss the value of 64-slice spiral CT angiocardiography (64-SCTA)and transthoracic echocardiography(TTE) in the diagnosis of pulmonary stenosis in tetralogy of Fallot. Methods 27 cases of tetralogy of Fallot which were proved by surgery in our hospital from August 2011 to December 2012 were collected. All of these patients underwent 64-SCTA and TTE at the same time before operation, and both of them were evaluated the type and degree of pulmonary stenosis. Then, the operation results were taken as diagnostic standard to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of these two methods. Results The coincidence rates in the diagnosis of pulmonary stenosis, outflow tract stenosis, pulmonary valve stenosis by TTE were higher than the 64-SCTA (chi-square value was 15.06, 6. 13, 5. 14 respectively, P <0.05). There was no statistical significance in the pulmonary artery and its branches development (chi-square value was 0. 50, P > 0. 05). Conclusion Comparing with the 64-SCTA, echocardiography has advantages in the diagnosis of pulmonary stenosis in tetralogy of Fallot, especially in the diagnosis of the stenosis of right ventricular outflow tract and pulmonary valve.关键词
