紫背天葵提取物对糖尿病模型大鼠的降血糖作用研究

Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To explore the hypoglycemic effects of extract of Gynura bicolor on diabetes model rats. METHODS: Diabetic rat model was induced by alloxan(100 mg/kg) intraperitoneally. The rats were divided into normal control group (constant volume of normal saline), model group (constant volume of normal saline), metformin group and G. bicolor high-dose, medium-dose and low-dose groups (5, 2.5, 1.25 mg/kg). They were given relevant medicine intragastrically once a day for consecutive 28 days. The levels of blood glucose and body weight were investigated by colorimetric method on the next day of last administration. RESULTS: Compared with normal control group, the level of blood glucose increased significantly in model group (P< 0.01). Compared with model group, the level of blood glucose decreased significantly in G. bicolor high-dose group(P<0.05);the change of body weight was not significant in G. bicolor groups(P>0.05). CONCLUSION: High-dose of G. bicolor extract decreases the level of blood glucose in alloxan-induced diabetes rats.关键词
