摘要

Abstract

To determine the smoldering rate of the cigarette paper,a new cigarette smoldering rate tester was designed. Its measuring accuracy was highly increased by using infrared sensor to locate the burning line of the paper. The article described the system design of the smoldering rate tester and analyzed the error of the system. It also designed a kind of calibrate device to fix the test range of the smoldering rate tester. It was proved by the test result that this smoldering rate tester can meet the demand of practical application.
