摘要

Abstract

In this study, S-adenosylmethionine decarboxylase, designated as PbSAMDC ( GenBank accession number; JX624260) ,was isolated from Pyrus betulaefolia Bge. by homologous cloning and RACE technology. The results showed that the full-length cDNA sequence of PbSAMDC is 1 683 bp and encodes 358 amino acids, molecular weight and isoelectric point of the protein is 39. 767 7 kDa and 4. 96 respectively. And the deduced amino acids homology analysis indicated that PbSAMDC has a high homology with MdSAMDCl (96% ) , and then the grape, sweet orange. In the same time, biological activity of PbSAMDC was discussed in the end. The research has an important theoretical and practical significance for developing stress regulation mechanism of SAMDC and stress-tolerance breeding of pear.
