Abstract
Objective To investigate antibiotic resistance and carbapenemase genotype in Acinetobacter baumannii.Methods 71 strains of Acinetobacter baumannii resistant to carbapenem were collected from sputum of inpatients in ICUs of Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital from July 2010 to December 2011.Their minimal inhibitory concentrations (MICs) were done by Kribry-Bauer methods and microbroth dilution.Using the modified Hodge Test detection carbapenemase,The genes were amplified by polymerase chain reaction (PCR),and the PCR products were sequenced.Results 71 strains showed multi-drug resistance.There were 70 strains with the carbapenemase.The OXA-23 gene was identified in 69 of the 71 strains.The OXA-24,KPC,SHV and IMP gene were not identified.The sequenced results were absolutely homology with blaOXA-23 gene.Conclusion BlaOXA-23 gene is the major gene of carbapenemase genotype in Acinetobacter baumannii,and the antibiotic resistance was high.关键词
