Abstract
Objective To monitor the drug-resistance trend of non-repetitive Acinetobacter baumannii isolated clinically from respiratory intensive care unit (RICU) and analyze their homogeneity. Methods We collected non-repetitive Acinetobacter baumannii isolated clinically from RICU between 2008 and 2011, test drug-resistance rate by K-B paper disk diffusion, and analyzed homogeneous genotype with ERIC-PCR. Results ① Totally 232 strains of non-repetitive Acinetobacter baumannii were isolated from RICU between 2008 and 2011. The main source of strains was sputum, accounting for 89. 66%. ② Drug-resistance rate had an increasing trend except for minocycline. Resistance rate to carbapenem antibiotics was over 85%. ③ There were 5 genotypes among the 232 strains of Acinetobacter baumannii: type A (45 strains), type B (61 strains), type C (79strains), type D (32 strains), and type E (15 strains). Conclusion Acinetobacter baumannii isolated from RICU have a higher drug-resistance rate and a genotype homogeneity, suggesting the horizontal transfer of drug-resistance genotypes.关键词
