Epidemiological Investigation of Canine Distemper in Minks
摘要
Abstract
In order to investigate the epidemiological situation of canine distemper in minks of Shandong province, 996 cases of illed minks from Zhucheng, Weifang and other areas of Shandong were subjected for clinical diagnosis and pathogen detection during 2010 to 2012. The results showed that 223 positive samples were detected, among of which, 60. 99% cases were the coinfection of canine distemper virus and other pathagens. Most positive samples were from Zhucheng. 3 month old minks were deadly infected with the highest morbidity. The disease was typically characterized by manifestations of conjunctivitis and diarrhea. Skin pustules, hyperkeratosis, and central nervous system signs were also seen in some animals. It indicated that canine distemper became a serious impact on the mink-raising development,and mixed infection was becoming more serious,the susceptible mink should be vaccinated before 3-month old.关键词
