江苏省一起急性胃肠炎爆发的疫情调查
Investigation of an acute gastroenteritis outbreak in Jiangsu Province

Abstract
In December 2011, an acute gastroenteritis outbreak affected a primary school in Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province. To understand the characteristics and cause of the disease, the cases were investigated individually based on the standardized epidemiological survey form, the demographic data of cases and the samples were collected at the same time. The nucleic acid of the samples was detected by Real-time RT-PCR. Genotype study was conducted by analyzing the nucleotide sequence of N-S region. Sample from a total of 276 cases of gastroenteritis outbreak from Nov 22 to Dec 13, 2011, involving 264 cases of students (the morbidity was 17.4 %), 5 teachers (4.4%) and 7 parents, were collected for the investigation. The most anal swab samples were norovirus positive, which belonged to GII.12 genotype. Results from comprehensive analysis with clinical characteristics, epidemiological investigation, and laboratory test indicated that this epidemic was an acute gastroenteritis outbreak caused by the norovirus GII.12 type with a probably transmission pattern of vomit-to-mouth.关键词
