摘要

Abstract

Due to the characteristics of hard and brittle materials such as high hardness, brittleness and poor processability, it s difficult to machining complex surface by using common methods. A new integrated machining method was proposed in this study, which combined the rotary ultrasonic assisted grinding, electrical discharge machining and multi-axis milling. A non-contact rotary ultrasonic assisted device was proposed and successfully developed, which achieved the power supply between the ultrasonic power and vibration system by using electromagnetic conversion, and designed the various parameters of ultrasonic assisted device. An open CNC (computer numerical control) system was developed based on multiple machining processes, which contained the processing methods of electrical discharge, ultrasonic assisted and grinding. Finally, the performance of the machine tool was tested to verify the machine design, and a complex surface of hard and brittle materials was machined with ultrasonic assisted grinding.
