摘要

Abstract

In this paper, the Shiwan super major bridge in Foshan, Guangdong Province was used to study the stiffness characteristics with regard to other design parameters for extradosed bridges. Parameters including main girder stiffness (girder depth) , tower stiffness, cable area and pier-beam connection conditions were changed to investigate their influences on internal forces and displacements of the girder and tower, stress amplitude and live load coefficients of the cable. A proper range for stiffness was suggested based on this study.
