摘要

Abstract

By shaking table testing of a tube pile model, this paper investigates acceleration amplification factor distribution on superstructure and maximum shear and overturning moment on the top of the pile under earthquakes for a single pile foundation structure system. Studies show that seismic responses of the pipe pile structural system were affected not only by the input acceleration amplitude, but also superstructure and site characteristics. The structure earthquake responses are more related to structural characteristics on the hard site; while they are more associated with the site condition on the soft site. The actual pile -soil-superstructure system is not a simple structure; the overall dynamic characteristics of the upper and lower structure must be considered as an integrated system.
