摘要

Abstract

Because of its fast -growing, plump plant -type, strong adaptability, long flowering period, brightly colored, Salvia splendeas become the most widely cultivated herbaceous flowers in the garden. In recent years, soilless culture substrates has been generally accepted. Different nitrogen fertilizer affect the vegetative growth of soilless culture of Salvia splendens. Vista Shenzi'and Salvia splendens. Yichuan Baifen' in the greenhouse. Results show that: For nitrogen concentrations of less than 25 mg L-1, the two species showed the typical symptoms of nitrogen deficiency: leaves become yellow and plant stop growing, for the nitrogen concentration of 200 mg L-1, the plant height, crown width, chlorophyll content and dry matter weight of Salvia splendens have reached the maximum. The requirements of high - quality Salvia splendens is plump plant - type, so when the nitrogen concentration of 150 mg L-1 was applied, itproduces the highest ornamental value. For nitrogen concentration greater than 200 mg L-1, the above - ground part and the under -ground part of two species were inhibited , and show Symptoms of nitrogen excess.
