Abstract

Objective To study the influence of microwave processed methods on the content of 6-gingerol in Zingiber officinale Rosc. Methods An RP-HPLC method was carried out to determine the content of 6-gingerol in Zingiber officinale Rosc. An orthogonal design was used to optimize the processing conditions with the index of 6-gingerol content. Results Optimum microwave process technology was as follows: processing for 3 min under microwave with 50% heat power. Conclusion The preparation technology determined by orthogonal design was reasonable, reliable and stable. Its quality was controllable. The method provides reference basis for microwave preparation of Zingiber officinale Rosc.
