Abstract
With the ageing of populations, dual sensory loss ( DSL ) ( combined vision and hearing loss ) is a pertinent issue, especially since many older adults experience vision and hearing difficulties as they age.This combined disability is associated with difficulty in social - communication situations, often leading to diminished psychological well - being and quality of life.The aim of this paper is to review the literature regarding the prevalence of dual sensory loss and its impact on older people, with special relevance to the older adult Chinese population.关键词
