A New Mini Watermelon Cultivar F1 Hybrid-‘Huangjing'
摘要
Abstract
'Huangjing' is a new mini watermelon F1 hybrid cultivar developed by crossing inbred line WY1-21 as female parent and WY3-7 as male parent. It has strong growth vigor. It is easy to set fruit and the fruit is growing fast. It takes about 28 days from flowering to fruit maturing. The single fruit weight is 2.0-3.0 kg. Its fruit is of ellipse shape with yellow skin and dark yellow fine thread. Its flesh is golden yellow in color with good quality. Its fruit is tender and crispy and tolerant to transportation. It can yield about 30 t · hm . It is suitable for cultivation in spring and autumn in large or medium shelter.关键词
