Elimination of Chloride Ion Interference on Chemical Oxygen Demand Determination of the Yellow River Water
摘要
Abstract
[Objective] The study aims to eliminate the interference of chloride ions on chemical oxygen demand determination of the Yellow River water.[Method] The interference degree of chloride ions on the determination of chemical oxygen demand (COD) was quantified through a simulation experiment,and the simulation results were verified in the actual monitoring work of the Yellow River water.[Result] The interference degree of chloride ions on the determination of COD was positively correlated to the content of chloride ions in the water samples,and its influencing coefficient is roughly equal to its theoretical value.When monitoring the Yellow River water,we can add mercury sulfate to water samples to eliminate the interference of chloride ions on the determination of COD.[Conclusion] The research could provide a scientific method for the elimination of chloride ion interference on chemical oxygen demand determination of water.关键词
