Abstract
[Objective] The study aimed to discuss the optimal conditions for treatment of potato starch wastewater through activated carbon adsorption.[Method] Low-concentration potato starch wastewater was treated by activated carbon,and the influences of adsorption time,particle size and dosage of activated carbon,wastewater pH and temperature on its treatment effect were analyzed.[Result] When 5 g of activated carbon with the particle size of 40 mesh was added to potato starch wastewater (pH =5) to absorb organic matter for 1 h at 27 ℃,the adsorption efficiency of activated carbon was the highest,about 48%.[Conclusion] The research could provide scientific references for the effective treatment of starch wastewater.关键词
