Abstract
Objective To investigate the change and its significance of T help cells( Th ) 17 in patients with Graves disease. Methods 29 patients with Graves disease( GD ) and 21 healthy subjects were selected, all the patients were newly diagnosed and untreated. The frequencies of Th17 in peripheral blood were detected by flow cytometric analysis, and the expression of interleukin( IL )-17 was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results Compared with the healthy control group, the frequencies of Thl7 in peripheral blood and the expression of IL-17 were found to be significantly higher in patients with GD ( P < 0. 01 ); the proportion of Th17 in peripheral blood had a positive correlation to the level of Th17 ( r = 0. 612 ,P <0. 01 ). Th17 had positive relationship with the level of free triiodothyronine( FT3 ), free thyroxine( FT4 ) ( r = 0. 401 , r = 0. 467 , P < 0. 05 ) and negative relationship with thyroid stimulating hormone( TSH ) ( r =0. 376,P <0. 05 ) in GD. Conclusion Th17 cells may involve in the pathogenesis of Graves disease.关键词
