Abstract
Objective To discuss the application of PDCA cycle in quality management for medical equipment and the value in medical field.Methods The data came from the surgical ICU and respiratory ICU of our hospital,from May to July 2012,as the group without PDCA cycle implementation,and from August to October 2012,as the group with PDCA cycle implementation.The two groups of data were statistically analyzed.Results After the application of PDCA cycle,the execution rate of medical equipment quality control increased from 48.2％ to 98.4％ (P ＜ 0.05).In the medical equipment quality monitoring,the execution rates of hanging state identification card,hanging secondary maintenance card,filling in the equipment level maintenance table and staff execute equipment regular quality control increased to 100.0％,99.8％,99.8％,98.8％ from 95.4％,82.6％,82.6％,68.1％,respectively (P ＜ 0.05).The execution rates of medical equipment quality control in surgical ICU and respiratory ICU both increased to 96％ from 48％ and 30％ respectively (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions PDCA cycle is an important quality management tool that can effectively improve the execution rate of medical equipment quality control.关键词
