Abstract
Hydrophilic polypropylene melt-blown nonwoven fabrics were hot-pressed as MH-Ni battery separator.The influences of pressing temperature,time and pressure on the thickness,alkaline absorbing volume and speed of samples were investigated.Separator with surface density of 92 g/m2,alkaline absorbing volume of 760% and speed of 64 mm/30 min was obtained under the condition of hot-pressing at 55 ℃ and 2 MPa for 30 s.The initial specific capacity of Ni/MH battery assembled with 5 kinds of battery separators with different alkaline absorbing properties and porosity was higher than 70% of the theory value.When cycled 35 times in 0.9 ~2.0 V with 0.3 C,the discharge capacity retention was higher than 90%.关键词
