Waveform distinction between artificial explosions and natural earthquakes recorded in Fujian area

摘要

Abstract

Using the digital waveform data of artificial explosion and natural earthquake recorded by Fujian Seismic Network, we analyzed the artificial explosion and natural earthquake waveform characteristics of same area by waveform comparison method. It is found out that there are different features in phase, distribution of P-wave first motion marks, amplitude ratio As/Ap between explosion and earthquake records. Based on these features, we gave the explosion identical criterion, also based above identical criterion to test once difficulty explosion, the results provide the basis for explosion identification.
