摘要

Abstract

With prestressed carbon fiber reinforced polymer(CFRP) plates,the strengthen reinforced concrete beams can increase cracking moments and maximum crack width.At present,there is no design provision for strengthened concrete beams with prestressed CFRP plates in current codes and ACI 440.4R-02 code.According to theoretical analysis,the cracking moment calculation methods of the prestressed CFRP plates for strengthen-reinforced concrete beams are presented.The maximum crack width calculation methods in current codes for concrete structure are modified with equivalent CFRP plates,bond behavior of CFRP plates and the bond area.Experimental studies on concrete beams strengthened with prestressed CFRP plates are carried out to verify the proposed formulas.Comparisons show that the calculated values agree well with the experimental results.
