摘要

Abstract

A series of orange reddish emitting phosphors of KNaCa2(PO4)2∶Sm3+ were synthesized via conventional solid-state reaction,and its photoluminescence properties were investigated.The excitation spectra of KNaCa2(PO4)2:Sm3+ phosphors reveal intensive excitation bands at 402 nm,which match with near-UV LED chips.The emission spectra of the phosphors exhibit three peaks composed of emission peak at 569,601 and 648 nm,respectively,due to the 4G5/2→6Hj/2 (J=5,7,9) transitions of Sm3+.The luminescence intensity firstly increases and then decreases with increasing Sm3+-doped amount.The emission reaches the maximum intensity at Sm3+-doped amount of 0.02 mol,and the concentration quenching mechanism is the electric dipole-electric dipole interaction.The decay lifetime of the phosphors doped with different Sm3+ amounts was analyzed.The effect of the compensators Li+ on the emission intensity of the phosphor was also investigated.The integral intensity of the emission spectra of KNaCa1.96(PO4)2∶0.02Sm3+,0.02Li+ phosphors excited at 402 nm is 1.5 times greater than that of Y2O3∶Eu3+ commercial red phosphor excited at 253 nm.
