摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical application value of peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) in preterm low birth weight infants. Methods 1.9 Fr models PICC tube produced by BD Company was inserted in 60 cases of premature infants. A retrospective review was performed on the data of PICC , including the timing, vein and position, catheter and complications, and treatment. Results Once catheterization was successful in 56 cases, and the successful rate was 93. 3% . Catheter length was 9. 5-11. 5cm and retaining time was 17-8z2 days. Five cases were found with partial catheter blockage while catheter ectopia occurred in one case . Conclusion The patients should be in stable condition when PICC is punctured , and the left basilic vein should be chosen firstly. The actual catheter length should be 0. 5 cm shorter than surface measurement. Good nursing can prolong catheter retaining and reduce complications .关键词
