Abstract
Objective:To explore application value on spiral CT and reconstruction technology in occult fractures of the ribs diagnosis Method:In our hospital,from Jan.2011 to Aug.2012,37 cases of occult fractures of the ribs patients with imaging data were retrospectively analyzed.All patients were examined by spiral CT scan.volume (VR),maximum intensity projection (MIP),surface reconstruction(CPR),multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) images were all analysed to be found the display capability to occult fracture.Result:37 cases of occult fracture of rib fracture patients were diagnosed in 52 sites,among them,6 sites (11.54％) were located at first,second rib,33 (63.46％) were located in the angle of the ribs,5 sites (9.62％) were located in the anterior rib,8 sites (15.38％) were located in the posterior rib.Exclude 4 sites,of which 3 siteswas located at first,1 at the 2 rib,rib arch,added 3,2 at the angle of the ribs,1 was located in the posterior rib.A total of 52 confirmed fracture,4 sites (7.69％) for the complete linear fracture,48 sites (92.31％) for the complete linear fracture.Conclusion:The suspicious rib fracture patients are given MPR,VR,CPR on CT examination method so that the detection rate of occult fractures of the ribs and the diagnostic accuracy can be significantly improved.It can meet the needs for occult fracture positioning,qualitative analysis of demand that spiral CT examination method,clear image is displayed.关键词
