摘要

Abstract

The effect of chloride ion on the reaction rate,pathway and products of ammonia electrochemical oxidation were studied by self-made PbO2 powder porous electrode as anode and stainless steel as cathode.The results showed that the electrochemical oxidation rate of ammonia was improved significantly by chloride ion added.Ammonia was removed mainly by · OH and HClO which was produced in the presence of chloride ions.The removal efficiency of ammonia increased with the increasing current density and increasing initial pH.The formation of NO3-N increased by chloride ion added,and the oxidation products were mainly N2-based nitrogen gas.
