摘要

Abstract

In this study,the third-generation wave model SWAN (Simulating WAves Nearshore) was used to simulate the wave field caused by typhoon "Meari" with wind input of CCMP (Cross-Calibrated,Multi-Plat-form) wind field.Results show that,(1) The SWAN wave can simulate the typhoon wave field very well.Simulated SWH (Significant Wave Height) has a good accordance with the observed SWH although the wave height is little smaller than observed wave data.(2) Large wave height region,the eye of typhoon and the wake of typhoon were described very well by the SWAN wave model.
