摘要

Abstract

An architecture of RFID (radio frequency identification) tag chip was analyzed.Then a baseband controller for UHF (ultra high frequency) RFID Tag chip was presented to support the design and implementation of ISO 18000-6 Type C RFID tags.The design and optimization of the baseband controller with low power were conducted on the level of system architecture and key circuits.Simulation and verification results based on TSMC 0.18 μm technology show that the baseband controller adopting 1.28 MHz system clock and 2.56 MHz sampling clock with only 0.16 mm2 core size and only 20.7 μW power consumption are compatible with the ISO 18000-6 Type C and meet the special requirement of low power and low cost for passive UHF tags.
