Prefabrication of vascularized tissue-engineered bone in vivo

Abstract
Objective:We pre-fabricated vascularized tissue-engineered bone in vivo with AV bundles,titanium cage and β-TCP and test the feasibility of the model.Method:The saphenous artery and vein (vessels) were dissected and muscle pouch was formed in the anteromedial aspect of left thigh.β-TCP+titanium cage+AV bundle were introduced into pouch of leg.At 1,2,3months,HE and CD31 immunohistochemical analyses were used to evaluate angiogenesis and new bone formation of the bone grafts.Result:The results of HE and immunohistochemical analysis indicated that there were new bone formation and vessel formation.Conclusion:Central AV bundle group could generate new bone formation and angiogenesis of tissue-engineered bone.This model was feasible for prefabrication of tissue-engineered bone in vivo.关键词
