摘要

Abstract

To improve the performance of crushed bamboo-mat composites,a heat treatment was conducted on Neosinocalamus a f finis bamboo-mat.The proPerties of the bamboo composites made with the treated mats were tested.It was observed that the composites made with the treated mats showed darker color and better dimensional stability.However,their bending strengths and horizontal shear strengths decreased with increasing steam pressure and treatment duration.
