摘要

Abstract

A UCE gene named as mauce2 was obtained by RACE technology based on a fragment from banana's root cDNA library.The full length of the gene was 929 bp,containing an integrated ORF encoding 148 amino acids.Molecular weight and isoelectric point of the protein was 16 505.1 ku and 8.41.Amino acids homology analysis indicated that the sequence had 97.97%,97.30%,96.62%,95.95% similarity with Selaginella moellendorffii,Glycine max,Malus × domestica,Arabidopsis thaliana RT-PCR analysis showed that mauce2 was ubiquitously expressed in roots,stems,leaves,flowers and fruits,and the expression level was higher in flower and fruit than in leaves.
