Bibliometric Analysis of the Author, Papers and Citation in Chinese Journal of Tropical Crops During the Years from 2008 to 2012

Abstract
To further understand academic force of theses issued by Chinese Journal of Tropical Crops,54 issues from year of 2008 to 2012 were taken as research objects.The method of bibliometrics was used to make a statistical analysis on published papers,authors and citations of the Chinese Journal of Tropical Crops in the period of 2008～2012.The results showed that 1 805 papers were published in the five years,which involved with 1 703 authors,who mainly came from 146 organizations.Coauthor rate was 98.78％,18.23 citations per paper and the average Price index was 32.75％.The preliminary results demonstrated that author consciousness of cooperation and the citation was stronger,which would provide references to further enhance the value of the Chinese Journal of Tropical Crops.关键词
