低压铸造升液管用Si3N4/SiC复相非致密陶瓷材料显微结构和力学性能
Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Non-dense Si3N4/SiC Ceramics for Lift Tube in Low-pressure Casting

Abstract
In order to meet the requirements of lift tube in aluminium alloy low-pressure die-casting,Si3N4bonded SiC multi-phase ceramics were fabricated by reaction sintering using kerf loss Si powder in solar cell wafer and SiC as raw materials,Y2O3-Al2O3-Fe2O3 as sintering additives.The effect of Y2O3 content on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the ceramics was studied.The phase components and microstructure of the ceramics were observed and analysed by XRD and SEM.The results show that the sintered materials mainly consist of Si3N4 and SiC with a small amount of sialon and residual Si.Significant effect of Y2O3 content on mechanical properties of the multi-phase ceramics is observed.Based on the experiments,optimum mechanical properties of sample with 2.5wt% Y2O3 were obtained,which are the relation density of 88%,Vicker's hardness of 1.1 GPa and bending strength of 50 MPa.关键词
