Abstract
The ternary complex [Bi (C10H8N2) (C5H4NCOO) (NO3) 2] · 0.5 H2O was synthesized by the reaction of bismuth (Ⅲ) nitrate pentahydrate,2-picolinate acid (Pic-H) and 2,2'-bipyridyl,and characterized by elemental analysis,FT-IR spectra,thermal analysis (TG-DSC),X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) analysis and fluorescence spectra.The complex exhibited luminescent property in which the bismuth ion was not only coordinated by two oxygen atoms of carboxyl group from the Pic-,and two nitrogen atoms from 2,2'-bipyridyl,but also coordinated by two nitrate ions.Thermal decomposition processes of the title complex included dehydration,gradual volatilization and oxidation decomposition of the ligands,and the last residue was Bi2O3 when heated to 550 ℃ in air.The results of indexes to the X-ray powder diffraction data indicated that the crystal structure of the complex belonged to monoclinic system,with the lattice parameters of a =1.810 nm,b =1.285 nm,c =1.214 nm andβ =88.83°.关键词
