Abstract
Objective To study and analyze the clinical effect of posterior lateral mass screw in the treatment of lower cervical spine fracture and dislocation. Methods The patients hospitalized from January 2007 to January 2012 with the lower vertebrae fracture and dislocation were taken with posterior lateral mass screw surgical treatments, of which 13 patients were treated with Roy-Camille,21 patient was taken with Magerl technique. All the patients were taken for 6 months of follow-up after surgery. The quality of life and ASIA classification for the patients preoperative and postoperative was observed. Results Postoperative X film showed the fresh dislocation patients were anatomical reducliont. All patients were followed up for 6 months, no deaths, five cases that completely paralyzed patients were with varying degrees of limb sensory recovery, 29 cases that not completely paralyze were with six cases can be carried out foundation activities,another 23 cases of patients with gram activities range also had greatly increased. The quality of life had been significantly improved after surgery. Six cases of nerve function in patients with nerve injury were fully recovered, 28 cases of spinal cord injury patients with ASIA grade increased by an average of 1 than before the surgery. Conclusion The clinical effect of posterior lateral mass screw in the treatment of lower cervical spine fracture and dislocation is significant, and has the advantages of reliable fixation, patients affected by pain of the spinal canal normal reset. It has a positive effect on the spinal cord and neurological recovery.关键词
