Abstract
Objective: To investigate the influence of the improved pressure cooker repair method on the expression level of ER( Estrogen Receptor) , Ki-67 (cell proliferative activity) detected by immunohistology. Methods: Eighty cases of breast cancer were selected from the archives of the Pathology Department of our hospital. All specimens were analyzed by immunohistochemical staining for ER and Ki-67 which were based on the traditional pressure cooker repair method (group A) or improved pressure cooker repair method (group B) .respectively. Results: The expression of ER was enhanced in 13 of 80 cases in group A when compared with that of group B. Among the 13 cases, 11 cases turned from ( + ) in group B to ( + + ) in group A, 2 turned from ( ++ ) in group B to ( + + + ) in group A. The different expression of ( + ) and ( + + ) in these two groups was statistically significant (P < 0. 05 ). The expression of ki-67 was enhanced in 28 of 80 cases in group A when compared with that of group B. Among the 28 cases , 20 cases turned from <25% to ≥25% ～50% , 6 turned from ≥25% ～50% to ≥50%～75% , 2 turned from ≥50% ～75% to ≥75%～ 100%. The overall expression of Ki-67 in group A was significant different from that of group B(P<0. 05). Conclusion: Compared with the traditional pressure cooker repair method, the expression level and intensity of ER, Ki-67 based on improved pressure cooker repair method are improved significantly. Therefore, improved pressure cooker repair method is more practical in daily work.关键词
