Endometrial abnormality in women with polycystic ovary syndrome

Abstract
Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS) is the most common endocrine disease associated with infertility and metabolic abnormality in women of child-bearing age.The clinical and biochemical features vary among individuals.The most widely accepted clinical characteristics of PCOS are oligo-ovulation or anovulation and hyperandrogenism.PCOS patients have a higher implantation failure rate after induction of ovulation,and they are more likely to suffer from spontaneous abortion.The infertility of PCOS patients should be attributed not only to ovulation disorders but also to endometrial dysfunction.Here we review the features of the endometrial abnormalities in women with PCOS.关键词
