摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the correlation between autoimmune disease of nervous system and malignancy in senile patients. Methods Forty one patients,who were older than 60 years old with autoimmune disease of nervous system hospitalzed from January 1998 to December 2007,were selected and received the screening for malignancy and the followed -up for 5 years. Results During the follow-up, there were 19 cases (46. 3% ) diagnosed as malignancy,5 ones ( 12. 2% ) were suspected as malignancy ,5 ones (12.2%)whose diagnosis of malignancy was uncertain ,and 12 ones (29.3%)was excluded from malignancy. 24 cases (58. 5% ) were diagnosed or suspected as malignancy ,and 17 ones(41.5% ) could not be uncertain or excluded from malignancy . Conclusion There is a close correlation between autoimmune disease of nervous system and malignancy in senile patients . Therefore, the causes of autoimmune disease of nervous system should be found out ,and they should follow up for cancer screening.关键词
