Abstract
Objective To evaluate CT and MR imaging manifestations in diagnosing synovial sarcoma.Methods A retrospective review was performed for CT and MRI imaging manifestations in 28 patients with pathologically confirmed synovial sarcoma.Results Synovial sarcoma showed unsharp defined irregular parenchyma mass,closing to joint or tendon and could grow spanning joint and sparing articular cavity.CT attenuation was like that of muscle or uneven.Synovial sarcoma could eccentrically grow around bone,and the consecutive bone could be demolished.There was punctate or tubercle calcification in the mass on CT imaging.MRI signals were mainly low intensity on T1WI with hypo-intense intervening septa and inhomogeneously high intensity on T2WI which were higher than subcutaneous fat.The destroyed bone showed low intensity on T1WI and high intensity on T2WI.Conclusion CT and MRI diagnoses of synovial sarcoma has no features but they are important imageology means and may provide accurate and abundant imageology information.[Ghinese Medical Equipment Journal,2013,34(5):69-70,121]关键词
