Reviews on Transformer Oil-based Nanofluids
摘要
Abstract
To improve the oil-paper insulation system,a new kind of nanodielectric material,transformer oil-based nanofluids,has received more and more attention.Except for the high thermal conductivity and transfer efficiency,it is shown that the transformer oil-based nanofluids has a higher breakdown voltage level than ordinary oil under AC and positive impulse voltage.Furthermore,the velocity of streamer propagation in oil nanofluids is much slower than that in ordinary oil under positive impulse voltage.Based on researches in recent years,this paper summarized the unique characters of this oil-based nanofluids on thermal conductivity,breakdown properties,thermal aging and resistance against moisture influences.Then three kinds of theoretical models were introduced to explain the unique electrical properties of nanofluids.Finally the future research focusing on transformer oil-based nanofluids were proposed.The choice of nanoparticles and preparation technique for stable oil-based nanofluids should be emphasized,as well as the mechanisms of nanoparticle modification in transformer oil.关键词
