Prediction and Experimental Study on Combined Load Equivalent Ice Thickness of Overhead Transmission Line
摘要
Abstract
Accidents such as break line and tower collapse caused by heavy icing bring great threat to safety and stability performance of the power systems. Therefore, online-monitoring on icing for transmission lines can provide valuable reference for engineering applications. In order to monitor equivalent ice thickness, a prediction model of combined load equivalent ice thickness based on torque balance theory was established. This model takes axial tension and angle as parameters and considers unequal loading due to strain insulator string as well as increase of combined load caused by wind force. Manual measurement of icing thickness was carried out in observation station. The field test results show that the prediction obtained by this model is in accord with manual measurement data pretty well. Therefore, the accuracy of this model is verified. Based on field test experience, correct factor of ice shape was presented to provide an accurate and convenient measurement method for field icing measurement.关键词
