Abstract

Objective:To observe the immunogenicity of domestic H1N1 influenza subunit vaccine in mice.Methods:The H1N1 influenza subunit vaccines with various hemagglutinin contents (20,30,40 μg/ml),three batches for each,were used for immunization of mice.Mice were divided various groups,10 for each,and were injected ip.with 1 and 2 doses of influenza subunit vaccines with various hemagglutinin contents respectively,0.5 ml for each,using those unimmunized as a control group.The interval between doses was one week.Serum samples were collected 21 d after the first dose and determined for hemagglutination inhibition (HI) and neutralizing antibody titers.Results:The HI and neutralizing antibody titers of mice immunized with 1 and 2 doses of H1N1 influenza subunit vaccine (hemagglutinin contents of 20 μg/ml) were less than 1∶40 and 1∶200 respectively.However,the HI antibody titers of mice immunized with 1 and 2 doses of H1N1 influenza subunit vaccine (hemagglutinin contents of 30,40 μg/ml) were more than 1 ∶ 40,and nuetralizing antibody titers were more than 1 ∶ 200.Neither HI nor neutralizing antibody titers showed significant difference in the mice immunized with 1 and 2 doses of H1N1 influenza subunit vaccine (hemagglutinin contents of 30,40 μg/ml).Conclusion:The immune effects of one dose of H1N1 influenza subunit vaccine with hemagglutinin contents of 30 μg/ml are satisfactory.
